This is the 2nd book of Khaled Hosseini and it is my 2nd favourite book of his. It goes in the order like that, 3rd falls And the mountains echoed.
I love this story about how these two Afghani women find something so cruel to force them into each other’s life and grow such a beautiful bond that is connected in so many ways and it is such a heart-breaking story that it melts your heart and makes you angry and makes you curse the world for such injustice and makes you cry out of joy and sorrow.
They find happiness in each other’s sad stories and how they slowly just remember being happy as a fond memory and I love the story unfolding and it breaks my heart.
A must read to know real womanhood and know about women bond, it is not all about hating each other. Sometimes it is even deeper than any relationship you will ever come across
