This was the one book I very excited about cause it is one of the most rated poetry books in LGBT. I stalked the author so I knew she was gay but when I read the poems in the book, it didn’t feel like it. It was very normal and generic that it didn’t make it stand out like an LGBT poetry book. The poems got to me but I wish it had the Pride touch to it. Also, it was very gooey and extra cheesy but maybe that is cause I was in a different mood when I was reading it (Had just broken up) so maybe I didn’t click much with it cause of that. 3.5/ 5
