Kitty, a bisexual cis Indian woman studying in the land down under. Being shy and introverted, she turned to books w

hen she wanted to find friends and found them in characters in the books she read. She tried to run from the fact about her sexuality due to the norm stemmed in her and it took her some books and a few bullies to come to a realization and overcame her fears, she found comfort in the virtual world aka Bookstagram which is where I stumbled on her profile. Guys, It is beautiful and as colorful as she is. Her story is like a flower blooming and enjoying the world. You should go read her write-ups on her page, they have so much meaning to them and are hell-a relatable.

One of the books that she relates to is Simon vs the homosapiens agenda by Becky Albertalli for she could relate to the protagonist, Simon when he had troubles coming out to his family and friends where he is put inside

a box where she is too and constantly tries to teach her parents differently.

I’m so grateful to have found her Bookstagram and hopefully read more of what she recommends and discuss more books and things!

She recommends:

  • On being different by Merle Miller

  • All boys aren’t blue by George Mattew Johnson

  • Gender Queer by Maia Kobabe

  • Danish Girl movie and book

About the book:
